Finding Calm in Chaos: Why I Started Wild Minds

Life can be overwhelming, can’t it? Between the demands of work, family, and our own personal struggles, it’s easy to feel like we’re drowning in the chaos. That’s exactly why I started Wild Minds—a place where you can take a step back, breathe, and begin to make sense of it all.

I’m Camilla China, a therapist, mentor, and coach. Over the years, I’ve worked with countless individuals and families who needed help finding their way through challenging times. Whether it’s managing emotions, navigating relationships, or overcoming life’s hurdles, I’ve seen how powerful it is to have a safe space to pause, reflect, and reset. That’s the heart of Wild Minds.


Nature’s Role in Healing

There’s something magical about being in nature. The fresh air, the sounds of birds, the feel of the earth under your feet—it all works to calm your mind and ground your body. At Wild Minds, I incorporate this natural healing energy into my therapy and coaching sessions. Whether we’re walking outdoors or connecting with therapy animals, the environment becomes part of the journey to well-being. Wild Minds HQ is set within our family farm in Buckinghamshire. Here, I have been lucky enough to experience the healing power of nature with my partner, four children and over seventy rescue animals! 

Working alongside animals is a unique element of Wild Minds. Animals have an incredible way of putting us at ease and helping us feel more present. Whether it’s a dog sitting quietly by your side or the simple act of caring for a farm animal, these experiences bring moments of calm and connection that are hard to replicate in a traditional therapy setting.


It’s About You

Wild Minds is about creating a space that works for you. Everyone’s story is unique, and so is their path to healing. Some of my clients need structured coaching to reach a goal, while others come to work through emotional pain or family challenges. Whatever brings you here, my role is to listen, guide, and support you every step of the way.
